Public reading does not require an account. When you sign in, your bookmarks, notes, prayers, reflection entries, and reading history are stored in your private account.
What is stored on your device
Your light or dark appearance preference is stored in your browser. Your sign-in session is kept in this browser. Reflection timers run in the page. While signed in, opening and completing readings records your private reading history. Unsaved writing stays in the current page; save it before leaving.
Third-party services
The site is hosted using Sites. Opening a passage may request text from bible-api.com; following an external reader link opens Bible Gateway. Those services receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the requested passage.
Account privacy
Supabase provides authentication and encrypted transport to PostgreSQL. Notes, prayers, history, and progress are designed to be visible only to their owner through Row Level Security. Administrative content editing does not grant access to private reflections. Project operators with database administration access can access stored records; these entries are not end-to-end encrypted. You can delete individual entries and export your saved records from account settings.
